I've lived in Charleston for 25 years and enjoy creating experiences for visitors in the vacation scene.

I drove for Lyft for about 4 years before starting Charleston Historic Tours and Transportation. During that time, I had the pleasure of meeting incredible people from all over the world, each with their unique stories and backgrounds that enriched my experiences as a driver. I often recommended local restaurants or new hidden gems, and told some stories about Charleston's vibrant culture and history. It was rewarding to see people’s smiles when they learned a new piece of history.

However, I noticed something concerning—many first-time visitors missed out on some of Charleston’s destinations because they didn’t know where to go. Noticing this, I started asking incoming visitors if they would like a quick loop around our downtown before they checked-in. Visitors could see the beautiful homes in person instead of the Internet. Guests loved hearing about Charleston’s rich history and legendary dining spots. So I kept offering them.

My passengers were always grateful for getting a quick tour around Charleston, at the beginning of their trip, to see where things were and get a few historic stories. Their feedback sparked a passion in me to create a more guided and personal experience, ensuring that visitors could explore the best that Charleston, privately and comfortably. These mini-tours seemed much appreciated. So I kept offering them.

I have a passion for all things in Charleston history, and all the many layers of history that make up our charming city. I am a member of the Historical Charleston Foundation. I was trained by local tour companies in town. I love meeting new and interesting people.
